Since becoming addicted to wine, we've been looking for wine that is...
- •Easy-to-drink (can drink without food and in the middle of the day)
- •High-quality (no hangovers, guava or allergic reactions)
- •Good value for Money (sub R200)
We couldn't find any. So we decided to make our own.
The Wine
Our first attempt is the Steve Chenin Blanc 2024

Trellising method: Bushvines

"We harvested at 21.3 balling on 31 January 2025, and picked early (compared to the remainder of the vineyard), hence a low pH and fresh acidity."

The Process
The grapes were whole-bunch pressed before minimal settling and racking-off juice lees to stainless steel tank for fermentation.
Very slow alcoholic fermentation and then uninoculated Malolactic fermentation resulted in a wine that is perfect for drinking on a hot summers day by the pool.
Not For Sale
The wine is not for sale. The only way to get some is to know someone. If you'd like to meet someone
